Do you really believe that the future of journalism is print? I know that I failed online, and that my failure provides anecdotal evidence that online journalism can't work, but it's anecdotal at best.
I'm not at all convinced that technology will reverse itself and we'll see a growth in printing newspapers. Clearly the industry is trending towards digital publishing, the question now is how to make money online.

Print is moving by the wayside because there's quicker technology that can move information much faster than running a printing press late at night.
You can't always be successful in your first try of digital publishing. Sure, you can dream of it, you can see others achieve it, but for the real people it takes much work and time and dedication. Do what you can and take notes for the next venture you wish to take on.
I wouldn't worry about people like Mr Hogan personally. They're the sort of people who inspire me to fly higher and soar further.
